Yes, lemurs were in the movie Madagascar, and yes, they do mostly only live in Madagascar. They're beautiful animals and are critically endangered. I recently covered the Golden Crowned Sifaka lemur in my blog (endangeredextinct.blogspot.com) and was shocked just how few there were left in the wild.
